| Band Biography: | |
| Cast Irony is an alternative rock band based outside of Toledo, Ohio. Cast Irony was formed in 2005 by brothers Jacob and Adam Horn who set out to make straight-up rock. They enlisted longtime friend Joey Shinsky on drums. All of the members of Cast Irony bring something different and unique to the band, and all contribute as lyricists and musicians. All of them feed off of each other to create music that can inspire emotion, whether it be hope, acceptance, or laughter. Their sound incorporates sounds from any and all sub-genres of rock to create an overall sound that defies the narrow classifications deemed necessary in today's music. Cast Irony has already made an impact on the Toledo music scene in their blossoming career: headlining shows, selling out entire shipments of their debut EP 'Parallel Fifths', and advancing to the semi-final round of the 4th annual Regional Superstar competition. Highlights of the band's career include when they were personally requested to be direct support for the band Madina Lake by the band themselves on their last stop before joining Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution tour, and being chosen to play a date on the "Not So Silent Tour" with Tantric while their song "Down and Out" was a Billboard Top Ten single. |
