| Band Biography: | |
| The Reese Dailey Band was formed in 2005. Reese grew up in the shadow of his father, the legendary Pat Dailey, and was playing guitar by age 8. His early influences included songwriters like Gordon Lightfoot, Jim Croce and Paul Simon. Later, he styled his playing after bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers and Eric Clapton. What evolved was a style of songwriting and guitar playing that far exceeds the level of talent and energy that you're used to seeing. Bass guitar player, Mark Bibler, is an energetic, powerhouse player in a small package. His style of bass playing has helped to form the “big sound” that the band is heralded as having. Mark is a student of the blues who got his first bass guitar back in the 1970’s and has been studying blues players and icons ever since. Reese and Mark were playing together already when they discovered drummer, Rob Morrin. Rob was a founding member of the 80’s band, “The Flecks” and was looking to get serious about music again. The matchup of Rob’s professional, “always-in-the-pocket” style and the raw, driving, power style that Reese and Mark already had, was perfect. The band is currently in the studio working on their debut album, scheduled to be released this summer. | |
