| Band Biography: | |
| In 2007 Severe Weather founder; John Sevilla a guitarist/songwriter, and producer/studio-owner teamed up with Tom Clawson a singer/songwriter for Buck69, to produce an epic blues CD called - “Event Horizon” this CD has a smoky blues voice and a whirlwind of guitar. The two met when John and his recording studio New Realm were referred to Tom, as the place to go to get his Buck69 CD project recorded. The two worked well together, and after becoming confident in John’s talent, Tom decided to make John producer for the Buck69 project. By the end of the project Tom extended the opportunity to John to play guitar for three songs on the CD. There was an obvious musical chemistry being captured during production. John recognized a presence in Tom’s voice that reflected Tom’s blues traveler experiences. With each vocal session, John was becoming more intrigued at the possibility of featuring Tom on his up and coming Severe Weather blues album. After releasing Tom’s Buck69 CD “When She Whispers Your Name” to great reviews emphasizing to rush and buy the CD, John extended the opportunity to Tom to write lyrics and sing on his Severe Weather blues CD. Tom was eager and ready for the challenge. Their first cut in the studio was “Tell Me Why” a captivating bluesy rock balled that will leave you spellbound. Followed by their second song “These Blues” an up tempo jam-out that gets the blood pump-in. These two songs are also the single promo tracks for the up coming album - “Event Horizon” the term event horizon is used by scientist to describe the point of no return to one of the most massive phenomenons in the known universe.
