The 2010 Toledo Blade Battle of the Bands registration is off to a strong start! Remember, if you’re a new act, you’ll need to create a profile, classify your genre and upload up to two tracks of your best sounds.

Returning acts will need to update their profiles and reclassify their genres.

We’ve made some changes to this year’s contest, including killing the rating system and changing the voting system to allow each person one vote per day, per band.

Registration runs through March 31^st, but returning acts MUST update their profile before March 26th, or the profile will be disabled and you’ll have to contact us to have it restored.

If you make it to the semi-final round, you’ll play at the Red White Ka-boom! Festival the weekend of July 3rd and 4th, 2010!

Lucky winners in the semi-final round will battle it out rock-star style in the Finals at the Northwest Ohio Rib-Off  August 12th-15th, 2010.
